Milan leads project development, stakeholder management, and policy analysis for EQ Energy Inc. Milan ensures our projects meet timelines and requirements - managing an ecosystem of stakeholders to deliver client satisfaction. Milan keeps on top of key policy announcements and trends, to ensure the latest incentives can be applied to projects, he also leads in drafting policy applications.
Milan leverages over nine years' experience in project development roles, in energy and health sectors. He has led technical, policy, regulatory, strategy projects over his career, working with a broad range of industry stakeholders and clients. He is Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma certified.
For eight years Milan worked at a private-sector utility (Smart DCC), in the UK, that operates nationwide advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), distributed energy and energy data related programs on behalf of energy industry clients and the UK government.
Milan led a variety of programs and projects whilst at Smart DCC, working closely utilities, retailers, industry associations, innovators/software developers, OEMs, governments, regulators, researchers, charities and consumer representative groups. He managed a cross-industry team to develop and scale an automated domestic Distributed Energy Resource (DER) asset registration service, on behalf of the UK government. He led a data access program that enabled development of an industry award winning policy tool, identifying areas of households with the highest energy burden, helping to target financial assistance. Milan advised local government clients on the use of smart metering data, to support decarbonization planning, e.g. through targeting energy efficiency/retrofit planning. He managed and provided advice into multiple technical innovation projects, such as an electric vehicle technical demonstration project, which included grid connectivity analysis.During his time at Smart DCC Milan led distributed energy and retail market policy analysis, market research, and trend analysis - with a particular focus on identifying incentives and commercial opportunities/threats, to guide corporate strategy development and business planning. Milan worked closely with C-suite to keep them up to date with the evolving policy and market landscape - devising and implementing strategies in response to changes. Milan led in writing bids for technology innovation grant funding, private sector partnerships and provision of consultancy services. His bids enabled the receipt of £XXX,XXX in revenue whilst in position, developing a substantial pipeline.
Prior to Smart DCC, Milan worked at the UK government's health department on policy programs and stakeholder engagement.
